last year i went just offshore with friends fishing on a small vessell when a storm blew up aboat 7 water spouts scared as hell but i was glad to see the runaway by my side thanks runaway Mike Smith 06/02/2012 5:03am
I fish Hatteras several times a year for the last 15 years and I have to say that I have found a home with Runaway. This is the hardest working Captain that i have ever fished with. Thanks for a great day too capt Jay, Joseph and Mike. We have been coming to OBX for years and now we have a new tradition. We caught plenty of Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin we, spotted a Blue Marlin and had two Sailfish come up behind the boat. It was an amazing experiance to fish among the best. Want FISH and a GREAT TIME??? Then get onboard the RunAway and prepare to REEL EM IN!!!! Capt. Jay and crew were super attentive and friendly and busted their butts to make sure we had the best off -shore fishing day possible...... and we did! Plenty of fish, good times and memories. Fished with these guys last fall, and damn near sunk the boat with smoker kings! On our way back in a couple of weeks to do it again. In 40 years fishing the Outer Banks, I've never met a harder working team. The Runaway crew is absolutely committed to making you catch fish, so if you don't wanna come back to the dock with a full fish box and sore arms, you should book with someone else. 1 mako, 1 wahoo, 1 king ,1 yellowfin, and a half dozen false albacore. Good people and a fast boat. Could not have found a better crew. Would not hesitate to book with this top notch operation.
